PLAN AHEAD!

3D prints don't always go the way the designer intends and can take a very long time to make. 3D printing an object can take anywhere from 20 minutes to over a day, depending on the size, fill volume, and resolution of the print. Please bear this in mind when submitting a design. Please submit your entries as early as possible. This will allow you time to fix and refine your design in case there is an error with the printing process.

Submitting a Design

Make your part in a computer aided design (CAD) software (e.g., Solidworks) and save it as an .STL or .OBJ file. Then send it to us for approval.

Printing a Design

Choose whichever option best suits your needs:

  • Have us print your design for $0.10/cm^3, or
  • Print your design using a 3rd party printing service of your choice.
